History 306 chevy dragster

A young friend who was full of energy wanted to build a car of 1960 to 65 or so and here is what we came up with Ford 9 in, powerglide, Chevy small block, Comp. roller cam, Hilborn and Vertex and what you can see. I cut the rear end down and did the front axle, and he did the rest. Proud of him for taking this old man down memory lane

 

So where does the number 306 come into play?

 

.030" over 302.....

 

Interesting^^. How far can a 302 be bored?

 

.060" over would be the max I think....
