Hey Rustyl, do you have any drawings of 42-48 fat fendered fords and 55 ford cars. Love the sitting in the weeds ones.

  2. Rusty J,..those are all drawn with a Flair pen, pencil, and colored pencils for color....then cleared with a coat of satin varnish...
New Guy,..here's some 46-8 Fords and a 55 wagon...I can draw your cars..

OUTSTANDING ! Is my only way to describe your talents . My son is an artist by trade , but he cares less about cars or bikes . You have been given a great talent and you use it well . Good Luck with it . I’ll be PMing you shortly for details how to purchase an image from you .

Rusty1 Did this one for me and framed it also. It hangs above my bench at the shop and gets a ton of complements. 20160826_072818.jpeg

i havnt seen my work bench for a couple years now. fortunately the vise towers above the clutter, so there is a work place. seriously though, my two best "get er done" friends are opposites, one smart talented guy with a spotless shop, the other smart talented guy with a mess like mine. when i feel bad about it, i can just think of all the productivity going on in harrys mess, then i dont have to clean up

  15. thanks for all the compliments guys, I appreciate that;...if anyone's interested in some artwork, send me a PM along with a couple pics of your cars,...thanks

  18. Not usually. The wood surface is pretty gouged up although I did sit at my bench to do these....had a piece of 1/8th inch sheet metal underneath. workbench.jpg art37pontiac.jpg art56vw.JPG

  20. I draw on any surface that I can. The walls, the floor the work bench. The only thing I don't draw on is the tool box. I spent a day with a rag and solvent removing the pin stripes from the tool box and other important things in the old man's shop (short story about a drunk pin head) when I was little. I still can't bring myself to draw on the tool box.

I make additional benches and buy yard sale cabinets so I have places to put previous bought items and I have a cleared spot to put new used parts . Then more cabinets to put the new acquisitions and then I run out of room. And there I sit surrounded in my little space enough for my chair :D:oops: Maybe OCD would be good for me .
