Hot Rods THE INDUCTION THREAD

Here is a few less common SBC intakes I have collected over the years. The first is an aluminum WCFB SBC intake built by Cadillac for use in a M114 all aluminum military APC. Number 2 is a Creitz 2x4 intake, I understand a lot of these were used to create home built blower intakes. Number 3 is a McFarland Torklink . Jim McFarland was Hot Rod magazine tech editor for a number of years. The last one is a Offenhauser Q-Jet single carb cross ram style intake. These were marketed as the Convertible. There were three different tops available for purchase. A square flange 2x4 top, a Tri Weber carb top and this Q-Jet top.

 

Offy still makes that ^^^^^ cross ram intake...

 

I have a Torklink intake on my 427 Rodeck.

Do a Google search for Tri-Power Carburetion, they are in Missouri IIRC.
The way the coolant lines are run it looks to be an early Hemi manifold.

 

What kind of supercharger is this?

 

Looks like a kf industries roots blower that was made in the early 80’s the rotors and case were made from extruded aluminum it’s been a long time since I seen one of those

That is a very interesting engine. Is there more posted somewhere about the build? If not, could there be?
