Happy 4th, Another emailer asked me to include photos of the innards(it's super clean) and the stampings found on the p***enger side bench service hole flange and info plate, so here they are. Would trade for something Cool for Rocket Oldsmobiles???


I was just informed that the trans is a TH425 and the differential ratio is 3.07.(email also told me where to look for stamp) Sorry for the error and Thank You for the input and help.
I picked up an exc Olds Tornado fwd from a friend for someone and apparently he isn't interested, so here it is as I have no use for it. It was marked as being a '69 and having 48K miles. The ****** fluid is nice and pink and doesn't smell, and the differential is very smooth and tight, with no perceptible backlash. I called a racing buddy ****** guy to find out what they are worth and he said $500 for good differentials and $800 to $1400 for complete units which is what I have. So I priced it at roughly 1/2. Let me know your thoughts if you can use it. I can load on your pick-up via an overhead hoist. Would rather not ship it; have a H.A.M.B friend pick it up and ship, I will put it on a pallet. Well, two different people were to come for a look see, and neither made it? I really need to find someone who wants/needs this, as my son has me in a full court press to get the garage cleaned up. In April I will be heading into my 80th yr and he isn't looking forward to dealing with the stash of 'Stuff' in the building when I croak. Just to clear up some misconceptions, the price is firm. Where else are you going to find a late design unit in this condition for the price??
