Need some inspiration and pictures of kustomcars with quanted and quad headlights. So show me some pictures of your own car or cars u know of?? Love the wilderstyle and the old swedish late 60's early 70's style. As seen on the pictures
Canted headlights makes a car look like a cross eyed drunk. Just my two cents, take it for what it's worth....
Have a canted look here.............. https://www.customcarchronicle.com/custom-history/canted-quad-lights/#.XgTJGzD7Tcc
Our 56 Chevy with quad headlights out of a 57 Chrysler, though not canted. They were added before that trend took off in Portland.
My next custom is going to have 6 headlights. Maybe 8 if I use the small ones. They won't just be canted, they'll be all over the place. My canted quads just don't seem like enough. They're starting to look stock to me. Go read some little books, haters
Pretty cool background on this one. Bought new by his dad, same name as his ... WWII pilot, shot down & POW'd in 1944 .. my old San Antonio, Snap On Tools neighbor .. Norman "Skip" Bodet's family 1956 T-bird. Long hot rod history. Every Y block under the sun and a VS57 McCullough supercharger eventually. The headlights were put in, in the early 1960's. No more Y block .. but car has always been a test bed. I've always dug it. Need to get back in touch with him. Great fabricator. Cool car.
ebay 006 by 0NE BAD 51 MERC posted Jan 31, 2011 at 10:44 PM I got this old custom over 25 years ago . She was so ugly she was cute. With the aid of a 4 dr parts car I turned her into more of a Larry Ernst style custom. Long gone now and sadly the build pictures got lost to. Although I always thought this build style really showed a customizers talent {one way or another lol} I built cars to sell back then and this was to far over the top for most people at the time. 10 years ago she might of been hottest thing out there. Oh well Larry
Thanx for this link. Have a 55 Studebaker Commander that will get some cool light-treatment up front and 60 caddy taillights in heavy modified 56 Golden Hawk fiberglass fins and some more cool things
This one I really dig. You'll probably find more pics in the other threads. Super cool car, kinda wish it was mine. Sent from my LG-H932 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
those triple head lights actually work pretty well on that 59 Olds. Doesn't look too wild as there really isn't much bodywork around it.
Here’s my contribution to the cause. I know, I know they’re not canted, but how often do you see an Edsel Citation convertible. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
