I’m 36 which is about half of the average age that posts on the HAMB. Anyone with a rust free 32-40 ford they want to sell me cheap to keep the hobby alive let me know. Thanks

 

57 in a couple weeks.
Wish I paid more attention in Auto Shop when I was a young buck.

50 years young!! But just yesterday i was 30 funny how you have no control over it.... or my bladder for that matter!! I gotta go pee.....

 

I'm 68 . Mind and body are at odds as to what my real age is. lol

 

I tell my students, "Old enough to be me." Which right now is 74.

 

Im 57 years young..my dad was into cars all his life ..was a service writer for Dodge /Chrysler so I was immersed at an early age..

80 closing in on 81 but 18 as Bob B says when in my hot rod all the years roll away along with the miles just traded my 32 3 Window for a 40 Ford Coupe so I would have enough trunk space to carry my electric mobility scotter

 

Just a few months away from 70...

Dana, I have always liked your car but the young lady seated behind the wheel does add a little more to the visual appearance. HRP

I'm 36 and have only had H.A.M.B. Friendly vehicles for 2 years but have been interested in hotrods since my teens . As for the hobby dyeing out is mostly due to cost and lack of parts/cars and people willing to part with them how many people have yards full of stuff that is just rotting away and another big one is people with knowledge who aren't willing to share it. I have contemplated moving my cars on because I don't have the knowledge or come from a background where I have friends or family members that have the knowledge that I need but I am willing to learn. A lot of people bellow retirement age don't have spare cash to blow on cars unless they are in there teens and then they don't have enough for building a car that costs tens of thousands

 

Currently 66 years old, in hippie years, the clock stopped back in 1968 !

Same age as my Nomad! After three heart attacks and a brain bleed, I am happy to still be on this side of the grass, having fun, as usual!

 

There is only one of him and lots of us so it is going to be hard to skewer the average. I am 67.
