Hey, this is Mike Jang's '51 Merc! It has always been one of my favorite 51's! He's had the car for quite some time. It was in the 1st KKOA book (1993) on page 114 in pre-chopped form. Mike was one of the OG HAMBers and was around here a lot in the late 90s. I can't remember what name he went by. Haven't "seen" him around here in a very long time..........E
Fordoor. I too have been thinking about the mordoor model. I have seen a 4dr chopped by Deans custom shop in L.A. That would be the car for me. I would also say it would have to be a 1951 with the stock rear window. My $0.02
First remember seeing pictures of it in the Merc issue(towards the back) of Street Rodder in the late 70`s.
Not the Grease Merc. My buddy owns the Grease Merc. He's a HAMBer too. That Merc in Streets of Fire was horrible! They should have put skirts on it and left the stock taillights. Stupid movie people...
I miss Paso. What was the name of that burger joint that had the Buffalo burgers? It's probably not even there anymore. It might have been Pappy McGregor's, but there menu doesn't have a Buffalo Burger on it.

Looks like this is a picture of the "Bad Apple" with its old chop top. Can't wait to see it with the new attitude top.
