    Hey Guys.

I am shaping up new panels to repair this beat up old 30 Pickup Cab. The largest panel will be the section that sits below the rear window. I went to get patterns off it yesterday only to find the panel so badly damaged that there was no swage along the bottom.

What I need is a centre vertical measurement of the area between the upper and lower belt line as shown in the diagram. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I measured about 23-1/8" between the body lines on my crusty 31 rear panel

Is your rear body crossmember still usable, the one the panel welds to on the bottom? I had to repair all of the subrails before trying to replace the rear panel. IMG_1345.JPG

Mine measures 23 1/4" from the bottom the lower belt line to the top of the bottom belt line and 24 1/4" to the bottom where it wraps under the rear cross channel. I've attached some extra photos showing the rear cross channel and where the lower cab supports attach to the cross channel. The patch is still in the process of being fitted. The sub rail is about the best part on the whole cab.

  9. Mine measures 23 1/8”, bead to bead @ centerline. (Strange, mine’s crusty too.)
