the lovely people of lincoln nebraska will be seeing some very intresting brick walls this weekend when they go to see "cats" :D

had my boss at the shop call me and tell me that he had some people from the prodcution companie looking for some one to airbrush some graffitti on the walls.

air brush would have taking forever so i got the call and went out to bomb in it about 2 hours. turned out alright i think.

    kept hearing people say hamb?

    lol

It's fun you got to throw that stuff up there and good idea using cans... much much quicker. I used to have jobs where someone would want a huge airbrushed mural, I'd do the same thing that you did and wonder how long it was going to take me to do a 10'x20' mural with paint rollers and the airbrush. Freaked a couple people out when I pulled up with milkcrates of cans in my trunk.

a bit OT but if you do it again.....
We have to get you some different tips for your cans my friend....:):):)

testor model paint tips can be modified to produce a super thin line.
3m Super 77 tips can be modified to make a fat ball of paint.

If you feel like playing with the tips just remember how the orifice works to spray paint and you can make tips spray whatever line/fan/ fill you can think of.

you'd be surprised at how well you can control a can with practice, so very similar to your old Paasche single action..

Sounds like markanthony has tagged a wall or two. That'd be a sweet tech article if you could put together the tips and demos of what they spray! Like a Wilton Cake Decorating for Degenerates cl***!

Looks like the work of gangsters. Hide the women and children and call the cops immediately...

Oh no no no, my interest actually went the other way around... from airbrushing to cans, small scale to large scale-honestly NEVER on anyone's property without permission or pay :) Haven't really found a use for them working on cars, so tech kind of seemed out of place.
