Hello fellow COE owners has anyone ever mounted a 40 to 47 Ford COE on a Isuzu ch***is looking for some input?

I sure thought about putting a '40 Ford COE on a Isuzu ch***is, with a diesel engine, It had over 400,000 miles on it,
My nabor owned it. I thought Just because I can, doesn't mean I should...
It was a five speed :( but only $2500.00 :) luckily he sold it BEFORE I reacted..

Not a Ford but this 39 Chevy that belongs to a friend is based on an Isuzu ch***is. Has SBC under the floor...

  5. Years back when I first started my Autocar project, I bought a '90 NPR to use as a donor ch***is. The tread width was too narrow for the Autocat. it had funky sized tires, (15.5 rears and 17.5 fronts) wheel stud patterns were different front and rear, (nothing else fit) and it has a 5.13 axle ratio. I cut it up and sent it to China!
    Your results may vary!

WOW!!! Thanks for posting this. I never would have thought a modern wrecker bed could look this good on an early COE.

If you look up "COE Garage" on Facebook, those guys put a bunch of 39-47 style Ford COEs on what appears to be an Isuzu ch***is. They could also be Mitsubishis. Anyhow, they're in Brazil, don't post anything in english and don't seem too enthusiastic about replying to questions or sharing technical info.
