Anybody ever see a "staggered" SBC intake like this? Or "milled off" Corvette script?

As shown from above.
This is a cross ram of some sort with custom top. Not an Offenhauser, maybe a Smoky Ram, possibly a GM.
I know, I'm currently working on one now.
Look where the polished aluminum stops on the right side (rear), it stops, makes a 90° turn toward the left, then goes around the distributor and backward for the left side carburetors.
The carburetor front to back offset is another clue.

You are correct and I looked around and this is the only shot I could find.

 

Lots of flatheads! 1st one is mine (I polished the carbs) but unfortunately the second one is not!
