1952-59 Ford 56 Fairlane bumper guards

Does anyone know if the front and rear bumper guards are the same for the 55 and 56s. I took mine off to have them re-chromed and one of them is in pretty bad shape and another one has had the inside bracket brazed together. I'm trying to find some good ones before sending to chrome shop.

I know a local guy that has one but it appears to be wider than the ones on my car. The shape is the same and I'm sure it would bolt to my bumpers, but it doesn't make sense.

If anyone has any that are not all banged up I would be interested in buying them.

Yes, the front and rear are the same for both the 55 and 56 Fords... the differences though: there is a p***enger side and driver's side AND the wagons had shorter bumper guards that would allow the tailgate to drop done completely (you can also find those shorter bumper guards used by guys who have continental kits).

I thought they were the same but this one looks different for some reason.

 

I found them to be mirror images of each other and the front and rear to be the same.

 

They are the same. I have set if you need some.
