I saw you the day I was heading back from the Huntington Beach Concourse show which Matt was supposed to go to, but decided to go camping at the last minute. And, I drove it home from the Back to the Beach because someone had too much to drink, so YES, Matt does get to drive it, but I do too. Because afterall, I'm the cool wife who got it done for him. If you ask my daughter though, she'll say it's her hotrod....
As far as the CA thing, we're getting tired of the rat race and the tons of people (if you know what I mean). We want a slower pace, a better place to raise our kid and more bang for our buck. Plus, Matt wants to start building rods, and our place in LB is way too small....

I don't know if anyone else said it, but beyond incredible talent, Foose is a SUPER nice guy! I met him at the SEMA show last year when he was filming that Overhaul'n. Took the time to say hello to everyone and I got my picture with him. Nobody imspires me to do a good job and work hard on my cars more than him.

How funny is it that several of Boyd's guys now work for Foose!! (That tells the story right there.)

I'm gonna be watching for the TUB episode.

So how "finished" was the car when you got it? Did it need alot of find tuning, or was it actually DONE DONE??

All of the body work, interior, etc. was done, but due to the time it took to finish all of that, the electrical system, exhaust, ******, etc. weren't finished. We didn't actually get to hear the engine until we got the car back from the months of safety checks that they put the cars through...Well worth the extra time, though...

Okay, I watched the episode the first night it aired, but can't remember a couple things that I NEED to know. If you guys can't tell me I'll bug the FNG with the HOT TUB... but first I'll ask here...

I noticed 36-39 wheels and caps on this car the other day when I was looking at it in a magazine. What brakes were used on the front and rear and what rear end is under the tail of that tub?
