Needless Trivia : Let me take a guess .... Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The number 1 on the license plate denotes Minnehaha County where Sioux Falls is located and is the largest city therefore the number 1 on the plate. The reddish rock building is the old court house located on the northern end of Main Avenue. The bottom floor is where one went for their drivers license.
How many recognize this car as a Ford ? Canadian Ford that is, a Richleau. Back when Canadian FoMoCo dealers had a shot at each others products. Mercury dealers sold a rebadged Ford (Meteor) and Mercury M100 truck. Ford dealers sold a rebadged Mercury (Monarch). Not a lot of either left today so very collectible. Some good looking vehicles too. Trim pieces for restoration dang hard to find. Don't get me started on Canadian Pontiacss n parts. 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
