    Condolences to the Byrnes Family and Friends on the passing of Edd...A Man Instrumental in popularizing the often portrayed Cool Guy and even Cooler is it was around Hamb Era Hotrod/Custom...Sorry he didn't get a chance to revisit The Kookie but you have to believe it was tugging at him a bit...may he Rest in Peace...

    Seeing him as such a young, athletic man in the pictures above it's such a stark reminder that Father Time is undefeated and is out get every last one of us. DAMN.

    I don't think it happened by discussion previous elsewhere within...I believe he was aware and suspect he have had some thought deep within...what's on a man's mind at that stage...Not actually my TV timeframe but he seemed to be on top of the world...

    Both He and Norm can have a Cool One in Hotrod Heaven now and so many others...

    There is a song "Kookie Kookie lend me your comb" look it up and hear it correctly.

    "i got smog in the noggin'!" he appeared in the "77 sunset strip" pilot as a mobbed-up thug; i remember mom saying "what a creep" every time he was onscreen. his character was killed, but a flood of fan mail led warner bros. to make him a regular cast member. kookie parked cars for dean martin's place, "dino's"!
