No, the Duggan head for the US Chevy 6 cylinder was not a crossflow design, it still had the intake and exhaust ports on the same side of the head. I bought the cylinder head patterns about 4 years ago that were made by Frank Duggan for the US Chevy 6 cylinder, along with many other patterns from Frank Duggan to fit the US engine, such as timing cover, valve cover, crank driven water pump, 3 different intake manifold patterns and engine block patterns. Along with the huge number of blueprints I also got along with this package to machine the parts these patterns made, was also a blueprint for a crossflow head for the US Chevy 6 engine that was conceived but never made.

so, from what I've read so far, there is no Australian Factory crossflow head that bolts on a chevy 6. i'm interested because my S-I-L imports equipment from Aust. and I can get a free ride. thanks.

Correct, there is no Australian factory or aftermarket crossflow head, past or present, that bolts to the US Chevy 6.

thanks, I was hoping for an over the counter buy that my son-in-law could include with his equipment shipment. I wanted to be the N. American connection for Chevy crossflow heads. I will check out Inliners. I am #2376
