I am setting up a new harness in my 50 Ford running a 53 merc flattie, and I hate all that wiring just hanging out. I also don't wanna use that krinkle wire wrap crap. Anyone have any other ideas? I keep looking and hoping that sonething jumps out, but I got nothin.

Something cleaner, I just can't find it...seems there are more hinding places on my truck that I could hide wires. Not so much under here.

Let's see some pictures if you have them..

Yeah, generator, coil is pretty hidden, but that large mass of wire poking out of the firewall, and the wires running to the regulator, and the solenoid, wires to the battery.....all that good shit. Here's a picture

There should be a grommet first off, going through the firewall. I just did a '51. There's a group of wires that runs across that lip at the top, and another bundle that goes down to my voltage regulator (where your fuel regulator is), then forward to the headlights. I wrapped the two in cloth wire loom from napa.

Yeah the grommet is here just not in there right now. I had it running sort of that way, kinda tucked the wires running forward in that tray area. I thought I remebered someone saying that there was some sort of cloth wires or wire loom available somewhere. Napa huhh...I'll try in the morning. Thanks

there is alot of room at the back of the inner splash shield for most of the ugly stuff.

Inner splash shield?? I am not sure where your talking about. The inner fender or the lower part of the cowl?

Sorry for the dark pics, you get the idea. I think these are original type clips. I need some more though.

  11. Mayby just making the harness neater would help.

Lay out where you want it to go.

Braid a wrap over the harness.
