The same could not be said for the top of your head. And using helmets that were designed for polo players didn't help much either...

The lack of front brakes might date this photo to 1967 (or was it 1968?) when some of the “full street equipment “ rules were relaxed in Gas Coupe, Street Roadster and Modified Sports classes. Also around that time those last two classes were all folded into Gas class.
