Just a reminder Northern Californias only car show and stunt show.Is on July 22 2006 at the Roseville Fair Grounds. I need some help getting the word out. So those of you that came last year speak up.Let people know about the stunt show, bands, cars. What was the best part?
Of course it will be the hottest day of the year. But it is worth it. Check out www.scorchedpistonproductions.com for more info. Get the full story in Gearhead#14. Thanks Scott

Man the website doesn't really say anything about the stunt show part. Can anybody elaborate? All I saw was that the first jump was at 2 and they had a couple pics from other shows.

Here some info I'm on the way out the door so I will make it quick. But I can post more info later. My partner in the show is a old stunt man who was touring the world in the early 70s as a hell driver. The stunts he will be doing that day are. A rollover, A steel wall (we stand up a car on the back bumper and dive another car though the car standing up. Also a jump with a van parked at the end of the ramp and sometimes he rips though the van. Sometimesthe front of the jump car catchs up in the van and flips over. Also we will be jumping my wifes dodge caravan off a ramp in to catch cars. We are planning on doing around 5 stunts in a three hour period. I don't think you will find anouther car show like it. Any more Questions let me know. Thanks Scott

Thanks for the suport. We are trying to make this happen every year and make it better every year. All of the people that made it out last year are Punk Rock for dealing with the heat. Last year it was over 110 I hope it will be in the 90's this year. We are going to have sprinklers running this year in some areas to help keep ya cool. Next year I'm planing to put a hot rod art show together at the same time.

We'll make it...I didn't bag it as I decided he doesn't need the extra stuff on his first car..maybe someday! We got the engine/trans together today and in the car, fabbed some motor mounts, just need to stab the distributor and mount the intake and exhaust manifolds.....and a ton of other stuff...but thats what we do RIGHT?!
