cut 16'' off the radius rods, then made a cut just before the rear mounting plate at the factory joint. Then cut the front mounting joint eye off at the factory joint and mounted the eye to the front of the shortened radius rod...the front of the radius rods will be mounted to a plate I purchased at HRW hot rod works...... also installed the master cylinder with some 10 lb residual valves.....
Just found this build thread....I am South of you...right off I 87...love to see this stuff getting built in the Northeast... thanks for posting on here...I am following along... MikeC
mocking the hood and grille up, drag link modified and installed 90 and 90, parallel to the bones. Jump on the front of the frame and the model T steering wheel doesn't budge...... ie ,no bump steer. Next chop the windshield!
since I'm not a big fan of paint, I'm coating my roadster bare metal body with boiled linseed oil.....the cowl isn't treated yet.....
don't know of any down side yet. Lots of "old" model a guys use it. High voltage electrical wire towers are coated with it to prevent rusting.
Just don't use Asbestos for muffler packing...I'll never forget this thrifty Hotrodder running Lakes style pipes at a cruise maybe 4 yrs ago...when I asked him how he baffled them he said he packed them up with Asbestos he had acquired years ago... Moral of the story is I hope your Old School Remedy doesn't harm you...at the least it might lube up the Ole Left Arm on the sill...
Nice job on the exhaust. Always takes a bunch of thought and a lot of time. Is that a new drive shaft?

I used to get custom DS's from a one man shop out in AZ. Quality product but he will not ship anymore so I have been making my own like back in the day when that was the thing we did. Not that I need many anymore as things have slowed down now in my senior days.
