Found this pair today of rims, what brand / Mfg. are they, 14 x 6 with 5 on 4.5 bc, logo on cap is ? maybe department store sears or wards? and yes they are for sale
Now I see it, do you know who made them for Sears, and thank you you answered that in about a minute after I posted that !!!!
1970 sears catalog. Sure looks like how Cragar made the GT....I was just playing with mine recently. https://patents.google.com/patent/US3399930 .
I wish you luck. 14” and 16 posts since 2011 may make a hard sale . eBay has lots of 14” wheels but I don’t think the desire for them is what it used to be.
I dont know who made them for Sears...but JC Penneys was selling wheels like this too. I dont think it was Cragar making them to be rebadged as they were one of the biggest sellers...why would they bother? Fenton, Keystone, Superior, Cal Chrome, Shore Calnevar were other brands making those steel rim with an aluminum face. Those wheels sold like hotcakes since they were the inexpensive version of an aluminum Torq Thrust style wheel.
Realy just trying to figure out what they are, been around here awhile, now I have time to be more active with the car parts
