Don't think I will blend in too well in GG. Columbus this year

I have been waiting to do this to my car since I built it, but never seemed to be able to find the right price, enough money, or the right people to do it. I don't have the talent for painting. I have to thank alot of people on the HAMB for not only the inspiration but also for the financing. Sold a bunch of Hot rod parts for a later project to get it done. So, I hope you will all approve of the change, The wheels are now Chrome Wheel Vintiques OE with bullet centers and lugs with wide whites. I don't think I will blend in at Columbus like I have in the past with all the other Sanorods of the 90's any more. Again Thanks to everyone who helped.

So izzit gonna stay in "color-sanded" mode, or do you plan to clear over all that.... and are the flames pearl or just white?

Either way, it's a massive improvement... nice layout to the flames, too. I don't usually like flames on the roof or decklid, but those really work!

Man that looks great! Flames to me either make or break a car, but yours are spot on. I love it, congrats. You're right, you won't blend in, but not in the "wow, that looks terrible" way, it'll be in the "wow, that kicks @ss" way.

The price of '42 bits just went WAY up, I love the purple, silver and red.

 

Here's pics of Dennis' car from 2 weeks ago.

He still has a few tweaks to do, but it looks killer in person.

The flames were laid out by "Hitch". He's been doing it for over 30+ years.

 

Huh that red and white thing is pretty nice! Oh yours must be the purple one... looked right passed it! J/k man. nice change!
