New guy to the H.A.M.B. I have a 1930 model A coupe I’m just starting to build. I’ve been looking at the tech post and figured I’d join. I’m located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. I have been slowly gathering early ford parts to get my build started in the right direction. Looking forward to the H.A.M.B. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Some of the parts/plans for the car. I have a 32 pinched frame from blackboard hot rods, 36 dash and gauges, 59L block Flathead, 4” Merc crank, and a few other bits and pieces. Looking to possibly run wide five wheels and drums. Looking forward to any input or idea. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
HI & welcome. WOW, you have a great start with a nice assortment of parts already to get t going. Start a build thread with photo's and keep us updated with our progress. The PATE swap meet is coming up the last week of April out at Texas Speedway. - Friday & Saturday are the good days though. If you have any additional needs it would be a good place to look but it takes a lot of walking to see it all. Usually around 9,000 vendor spaces sell there. Jimmie
Thanks Jimmie I’ll have to get that thread started. I’ve been going to the pate for the past three years, but usually buying parts for my Panhead, I did pick up a few piece for the 30 last year and looking forward to it this year. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Welcome......you can see from my avatar I am a Model A fan also ('31 coupe chopped 4", channeled 4"). You will be able to get lots of help on this site.
I might have some questions about the chop, I’m 6’4” so I think I’m going to have to keep it modest on mine when I get ready to chop it. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
