This year will be Kustom Kemps of America’s Lead Sled Spectacular's 40th year. Like always I'm really looking forward to the show. Since it will be the 40th I hope to see some guys that hadn't been there for a while. It’s really kool to look back.

I can't remember what year, but the " sweeter than wine" Merc lost a skirt on the interstate. Bob said he seen the tractor trailer run over it. Ugh... He did retrieve it though. He showed it to me. It was flat as hell with chunks of paint missing. Some pics show one skirt missing and that's the story.

I have a plaque. I gave Ed a magazine with a picture of his car in it like the one I posted above. He and his daughter-in-law thank me every year when I see him in Indy at the Custom Car Revival. I have pic`s of this car as well I`ll post later. This was sitting in the hotel parking lot when a car backed into it causing a little crease in the trunk lid. Does anybody remember that. Another W E H T car feature. It is alive and well in Oklahoma, right. Ed. Scan0203.jpg Scan0202.jpg

@stanlow69 Yes, it is. I have seen it recently at the OKC NSRA Nationals.
