Nice barn, reminds me of a story. Think it was in Roxbury, Ct. guy had a feed store that he ran out an old barn. Yuppies built a house on an adjourning hillside and didn't like the looks of the barn. Took him before the town fathers and was made to paint the barn so the Yuppies would be happy. He was a dear for Blue Seal and painted the barn blue to match the logo. Round two didn't go well for the Yuppies, he painted the barn, and it was the owners right to pick the color. I would've painted a giant middle finger on their side of the barn haha.

And a giant American flag on the other side

Don’t know if this counts since the car involved was a 1979 Audi 5000. It was Christmas Eve about 1983 or so and my Dad got the call that he absolutely had to make a delivery about 50 miles to the next town over.

It was cold enough that the trusty Audi would not turn over, despite the wood stove in the garage. Not to be deterred, my Dad got out the little hibachi grill and slid it under the oil pan. Not long after he was on his way.

Sure looks like a full Cabriolet to me, note the cowl that differs from the Sport Coupe. Bob

The lines are some computer glich…
I don't feel comfortable printing the word Chevrolet or its more common moniker...
but you should hear those chebby parts squeal with joy at being welded to a ford...
    ... finally - bliss...

I am a ford guy so the sides are what I wanted...
I will cut it bigger than the door opening section and weld it into a ford hood side... about 17" x 17",
that is why I bought them...
I do have a few chebby truck [4] louver hood sides out back...
got 6 sides and 4 tops for $50... gave some of it away...
we left 2 cowls, 3 doors, 2 rooves, 2 cab backs and a bed full of related parts at the garage... think $50 more would have bought it all... I was driving a crown vic, big trunk but !
was a wanna be rod shop - closed... new tenant wanted it all gone yesterday...

I think that is a 34 truck hood.

  28. G'day, Don't have a picture of this as I think the only cell phones at the time were those ***bersome bag phones. I swapped vehicles with a guy from down south and he was to do the swap. So he showed up in northern North Dakota in January with a 2wd pickup with a Corvette road racer on his trailer. Luckily the car started but it would not move. I guess 13 inch wide slicks don't grab so well on ice and snow. We had to call my uncle and his boys to come and help push the beast in. It's still sitting in the same spot 23 years later.

Three years ago I bought this original 46 Ford woody at a farm auction on a cold Saturday morning that was 6 degrees below zero! 46Ford woody (2).JPG 46Ford woody (1).JPG 46Ford woody (4).JPG
