Here's my 41 during a 320 mile round trip to Pendine sands and back. It did 240 miles on 7 cylinders after breaking a valve spring 80 miles into the journey. It also had a charging problem. Both issues have been adressed now. It has a 40 hood.

I picked this ‘41 Ford up out of an old orchard in San Jose. It was a 1.5 ton truck I cut the frame to short bed length and replaced the axle with 3/4 ton axle. Rear is now a limited slip Dana 60. It’s a rad truck but I’ve been thinking about sending it down the road so I can finish my other projects.

Ha ha, that's me! 5'9" on a good day. Actually it's got bucket seats out of a 64 Volvo and surprisingly comfortable.

This is my '40 Ford pickup which I've had since 1961 when I was 16. The frame has been replaced and it has had many different motors. I parked it in 1978 and now am getting it back on the road as "old school" like I used to drive it. The stacks are made of conduit. I just replaced the pickup bed floor with a floor from an '85 Ford pickup. It is still a work in progress and I plan on driving it year round.

Haha, I’m 6’4”, drove a 53 F-100 that chopped 4” when I was 19. I didn’t learn as later in my late 20’s I had a 73 BB Chevy Step Side with a 4” chop. Man that Chevy was horribly uncomfortable.
My 39 Convertible is cut at 2 1/2 and I have plenty of room to sport a nice hat.

No doubt the 40-41 Ford is the runner up to the pre 40 Studebaker truck as best looking ever hauler.
