Technical 1935 Ford 5 window coupe package tray

    does anybody have pics of mounting brackets of the package tray or interior pics of the package tray area.,maybe a pic of the steel structure around the rear window and package tray area,, I'm having issues on my coupe on how it was mounted and were it was mounted .it had nothing in place, thank you

    Found a couple of photos from when I was working on my ‘36 that show the package tray support in a 5W. The ‘35 should be similar if not the same.

    I saw that box section in the first pic and thought wtf!!!! If you look carefully you can see the sheetmetal angle that curves around the rear and meets the hangars from the rear side window frames. I don't recall them being anything more exotic or complex that a formed angle, and sheetmetal, so easy to replicate with a shrinker (once you've formed the angle).

    Here' a pic of the package tray supports which I removed form my '36 3w. Unfortunately, I don't have a pic of them in place, so this might not be of any use to you - sorry.
