Can't say for sure, I have no info on that pic. Ciski did race with the URC sprints and he did favor the number 24 so its possible, others may know for sure.
Back in the day when A) there were junkyards and B) they had nothing but American iron in them. I loved going to the boneyard. I'd go needing nothing and leave sometimes with a few parts and others with a truck full.
Help! (please) does anyone have a copy of a photo, (it was in one of the old mags of the late '50's or maybe early 60's), of a guy with his '57 Chevy and Triumph m/c and both had flame paint jobs. I'd love to see it again. Thanks in advance.
Coololdcars, thanks for pic. Here in Lubbock all the downtown streets are still brick. The City is just now planning on taking bricks away except for a few historic areas. 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
Rootie, I have confirmed that is Joe Ciski, taken at the Bedford Fair in 1967 by a good friend of mine Jake Hoover.
Thanks for the info, dsa69. Now I wonder if this photo was taken the day of his crash at Bedford or was this from an earlier URC race there.
