The radiator has has tubes cut off in multiple places, and put in different ones, it has had the frame brackets cut off twice to be put in the correct place. originally i had planned to mount the radiator way befor the fenders grill and hood where put togeather, but i couldnt decide exactly where the radiator should go. One thing lead to another, and i ran into some more issuses with the body mounts, i couldnt correctly line up the fenders untuil the body mounts had holes and rubber bumpers, after all of that was put togeather, i put togeather the entire front end, i could then move on to the radiator, and here we are now...

Heres a picture of the 39 street rod. back when i ran into all these issues IMG_0731.JPG

Keep an eye on the bottom of the welds on the bottom of the vertical gusset plates.
Since the welds don't "turn the corner" at the bottom you may get vibration cracks.
They are supporting a lot of weight.

Make sure to use lockwashers or locknuts on those lower mounts, if standard nuts are used there is nothing to catch the radiator other than the hoses if the nuts back off.
