I found this in a big box of LP's I picked up at a yard sale. No cover and the LP label has nothing printed on it, only the hand written Hot Rodders. The artwork taped to the sleeve is cool with what looks like a merc chasing a couple hot rods.
Yes, I have a meager collection... Here's one; posted in honor of the recent passing of Edd "Kookie" Byrnes:
Just recently scored the Holy Grail (for me at least) of on-site Drag Racing recordings. I've heard that there were only about 500 copies of this one pressed in 1965............
Haven’t seen that one before. I have been on the lookout for years for the Hayden Proffitt presents Jim Head & the Delrays album, as shown in the book by John Blair and Stephen McParland. Been collecting hot rod and drag race albums for years, with the idea of using them as display when I eventually get my 40 Mercury sedan hot rod back on the road, but I keep getting side-tracked with other projects.
I've owned a '65 Comet for nearly 12 years so I really want a copy of that one also. Two popped up on ebay a few months back but they went for astronomical amounts of money.
Little Something I picked up a while Back... figured y'all might dig on the cover art..... Sent from my SM-J727V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
