Here ya go....I also a magazine with an article about a 63 Fairlane being turned into what became the 64 Thrunderbolt

 

Thanks for that, I can remember one photo of a white one in the pits, are these the same car repainted or did they build more than one?

The ever controversial 1965 T Bolt

 

Not from Ford....

 

If you look back pretty long ago in this thread this was discussed and discussed by the T Bolt "experts" in here. The final consensuses was that it was real and a real T-Bolt. The ONLY 1965 that was real.

 

Who built it?

 

Can't remember this was all some time ago but I know I have posted a few more shots of it.

Darrell Droke's 1965 Fairlane which is was the only '65 Thunderbolt.

 

Outstanding!! Any other pics of this car? Love the narrowed rear look of this car, adding extra meats without having them hang outboard. This car has what I consider cl***ic tire sizing!!

 

The driver of this car was John Donilson. I think he died in it, maybe circa 1966.

 

I dig 65 Fairlanes....almost bought one, couldn’t come up with the $$ fast enough..not a real desirable car and I don’t know why..
