My title just changed,,, There seems to be a few that question the motives of the Alliance,,,,I see it for what it is,,,,,,there have been many auctions to help defray the cost of this site,,,,and I have won a couple and donated to it also,,,,, And I am not alone,,,,Ryan paid for this board outta his own pocket long before I was a member and it has always been FREE to anybody that wants to use it,,,,,and it STILL is, that hasn't changed! When this idea was brought up originally I was skeptical,,,now i'm sold on the idea,,,we/alliance members are helping to keep the hamb alive and growing,,, I don't care about having some special title,,,all I care about is the Hamb staying true to it's root's! I understand some of the hamb members cannot afford the 50 bucks and thats cool,,,what I don't understand is why some would think it's all gonna change,,, It appears that it's a win/win idea,,,,,,the guys and gals that can afford the extra money just helps build a bigger and better HAMB and everybody will be better of from it. I joined up, and I think it's well worth it. I probably won't buy a set of tires from Coker, nor many parts from the vendors, but the HAMB has been pretty worthwhile. I may be a FNG, but I've been browsing on this hokey ass joint for a bit, and have come across some good info. I really like that plaque though. It'll be some pretty decoration for my jalopy. So, when do the teal & peach coloured plates come out?
There is no limit to how many times you can use our vendors... This isn't a coupon book so much as it is a group discount. I've done the numbers a ton of times fellas... If you are actively building a car, it is absolutely possible to save thousands over the course of the year with the current vendor list and the folks we are getting ready to sign on. Considering the number of users we have and the amount of pull this group collectively has in the industry, I would not be at all surprised if the Alliance leads to some pretty wholesale changes in the hot rod industry. Big words, I know... but damn, there is a lot of us... and there is a ton of vendors that want to get involved with us considering the state of the other medias in our industry.
It's not so much that it's too much money, it's that maybe if there was a Hamb T-shirt thrown in I'd very much go for it. even if it's 58 dollars in order to get a t-shirt also, i think it's going to attract more people. Instead of chasing so many vendors that no one will use, make the t-shirt, the firewall tag, and stuff like that and i'm in.

It's worth it. The amount of help I've gotten from the HAMB is priceless. I'm buying in as soon as the dust settles on some shit I bought online today.

You guys have came throught like Gangbusters! I do like the idea of an ID card for my wallet though. Say I want to buy a set of Gumdipped's from Coker at the Pate Swap Meet. Hell even with free shipping, sometimes you like to pick 'em up the old fashion way, in person. Well saves us all time if you can "FLASH" the badge. Maybe do something like a credit card deal. hey ryan i think it is so cool for you to think up a way to keep the hamb alive and growing without changing it, its still free thats the coolist thing. to meet so many car nuts like myself all over the world, i am from canada but have been here in ca 40 years,to see all the car nuts from there and the uk and else where is the best.......i said it before one of these days i wanna shake your hand.......i just might plan a trip to do that..... or if your ever in la you have a place to stay...let me know thanks again the flyn

I like being "Paranoid Asshole" the only title that would suit me better would be "Totally Gay" Hahahaha. I think this whole thing rules. I don't care about the titles, tags or even the vendors, I think its cool the memberes can give the Hamb the support it deserves, and still have class. Its bad ass. Can My timing tag say "Ozzy Rules" ??????
i think its a great idea.....and a great way for me to support the place that has helped me out..and if i can be a tattoo vendor id gladly give discounts to Hambers...
Did I miss it somewhere...what are the dimensions of the tags???? I want to carry it in my wallet and flip it out like a cop badge. Also... can we have non car stuff discounts? Bars? Strip Clubs? The Zoo?
