Here are some hamb friendly pics from the move in day. I hope they turned out. Only 1/3 of the lights are on. All from the ba*****t.
When the lights come on friday morning I will get more pics. I have been busy cleaning the car. I have not even made it upstairs yet.
LOVE this shot- the trim on the '57 Chevy is the way it was originally suppoed to be on the 210's, and even made it into the sales brochures. Chevrolet changed their minds and replacement pages were sent out to the dealerships. My dad was working at Kirsch Chevy in Bala Cynwyd, PA in '57 and had a stack of the "wrong" pages for years.
Thanks for sharing the Bring on the Spring Cool Things @racer-x. The Mean and Green Machine Looks Stellar...
Better with the low light- thanks for sharing- used to go every year then moved North- got out of the rat race and now never go back-
Thanks for the pics. If you make it upstairs, there is a green full custom '51 Mercury in the Cavalcade of Customs. A friend owns it, and I just got to put new carpet in. Chop and all was done 40+ years ago... neat car.
Thanks for the prelim. Judging by the weather here on the border of the Motor City it must have been a messy move in. Wind chill is in the teens right now.
Sorry about the billet wheels I was gnawing on a pretzel trying to take a pic without spilling cheese all over me. I didn't pay attention to the wheels.
They had a guy on a scaffold blowing off the tops of trailers and cars. The custodians are doing a good job.
At least they allow you to unload inside the building, when we were there with a car the snow was melted all over the floor. Our trailer had big snow “t*ts” on the nose from the tow vehicles wheel spray. Again, the trip around the bottom of Lake Michigan was a white knuckle experience.
Dustin got invited to participate in the Cavalcade of Customs upstairs this year Sent from my SM-F900U1 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The thinking was that the hemi, as evidenced by the info on the rear of the front fenders, had been removed, placed into the towing sponsored vehichle, and the Chevy was being dropped into the Willys...
