Found a suitable Nylint tow vehicle for the Nylint trailer I recently restored. This Econoline was originally a Safari truck missing parts I did not need. I gave it a slight rake, made a trailer hitch, built a vinyl toneau cover, added some taillights, bed rails and gave it a matching paint job.
Very impressive RayMay. Wish I had that much talent, but glad I can recognize n appreciate it in others 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
I have one of those Nylint Econolines on the shelf to restore,its missing a roof but think they are reproduced and I did pick up a fire truck version to use for parts.
These were originally built in the late 50s early 60s by my dad. I recently refinished a few after they were damaged in a basement flood.
All of these are as built by my dad in the late 50s early 60s. The tractors were damage in a basement flood. The trailers were not.
Picked up the wheels, tires and grille from Thomas Toys while I was in Michigan last weekend to finish my Tootsietoy Graham Wrecker. This was a busted up piece I found. I made my own boom and used epoxy to attach it to the body.
These were meant to be played with...so a little playing with them I did do. The coupe has gone yellow, now resembling the car that I believe it was designed after ..."Pete's Coupe" and with a push of a button I made it resemble "Jake's Coupe"...if I got that in the correct order. The 41 Cadillac is still under reconstruction, with a couple of modified being carried out. Sent from my SM-T387V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Got some more work done on the Buddy L Country Squire Wagon. Finished saving what was left of the front bumper, gave a little detail to the interior, did a nice paint job on the roof and a patina look on the body. Still looking for a windshield and a rear bumper. Last we I came across a couple groups of vehicles like Tootsie, Metalcraft and Hubley. Most required only minimal repair and some fresh paint.
Cool replicas, just a note to consider. Hayden Proffitt will be the Grand Marshall at the 409 meet at Dragway 42 in Ohio this July. There will be quite a few 409 drag cars and some Z11's on display . It is dubbed Rock n Race. A great nostalgic drag meet .
Something a little different, an diecast Eyeball? Good job {Ray}. Your have'n too much fun! Also thanks { Gasser } Cool Chevys { Ed. }

A little story with this post. When they debuted Cadzilla at Indy. We got to go and meet ZZ Top. My good friend Craig Naff did all the metal work on it. I can't remember if I posted pictures of it before? But if so, these are all new photos that I just took. Thanks......... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
