Technical Windshield frame help

Has anyone got any pics of the windshield frame on a 32 plymouth? I have a 32 bsedan body, chopped and don't have anything. It appears to have a fixed windshield, doesn't fold out and from what research I've done there isn't much out there for these cars. Thought about making one out of angle and I even thought about putting one in without the frame and using a T type seal around it. Anyone have any ideas on this?

 

I have a 32 P.A. coupe and the windshield does fold out for ventilation as I thought all 31 / 32's did. Parts are definitely hard to come so some have smooth off the area the frames should have been and glued the gl*** in.

Hi Mike, I've got the same issue.....I have a W/S frame for my 34, but it's really rusted out. Been looking at just gluing in gl***, but I hate the looks of it and it wouldn't be so simple to do.
If you make a W/S frame, post the details please!

 

At one time not long ago I had found a Co. on the east coast that actually was a manufacture of windshield frames dating back to the 20's and still doing it. I needed one for a 32 Studebaker and found track of them through Hemmings and talked to there sales dept. Wish I had ordered one then but put it off and the contact info died with my old computer. I don't remember the name and just did some Google stuff trying to turn them up but no luck yet. I'm going to take another run at it being I still need it. At the time it seems like Chrome with gl*** installed shipping and ins. was about $800.oo. When I find it I'll post it up. I'm sure I'm going to wish I had ordered it back then.

frames show up on eBay. Just note coupes and sedans are different. I see 33/34 stuff more often. We have a 33 Plymouth. I also mocked up another 33. I you need I can measure the 33 to see if it close. And roughed in the swing out window pretty easily.
I have some crust highness if you need some. I would have take a look for them.
Right above the windshield hole there should be a two hole mount on each side. along the a-pillars there should also be a two hole mount spot for the slider pivots. It’s all very similar to the fords.
I may also have some extra sliders if you need them. Just PM me.
