    The 291 intake will NOT work on a 330-341...deck height issues.... unlike the Chrysler engines.

    You will like the 330. Since you are doing a rebuild, step up and go to 10:1 forgings. Massive improvement.
    The stock oem 4-bbl manifold is a pretty good dual-plane design. You will likely find damaged lobes on the 330 cam, very common DeSoto problem but easily repaired. You will also need adjustable pushrods.

    om building a run stand to see if I can get the 330 running before I do a full tear down. Want to get it back on the road for this summer. try and collect more parts at swaps and such then pull a full rebuild next winter if it needs it.

    I like the look of the two barrel manifold. Cute kiddo also ,, been through seven myself.
