I have nowhere to put it, but that’d make a cool project, and it’s a nice price. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
a well executed hardtop would be like a factory hardtop in the wing window area. the door windows would roll up and seal out wind noise. few people put the required effort in to hardtop conversions.
Gramp had a '48 Roadmaster and the hood was hinged so that it could be opened from either side, a massive piece of metal. I wonder how many men were needed to remove this one! Seems like a good deal, I wonder what else it needs o be road worthy?
...............15 minutes from me and I've never seen or heard of this car. Interesting, hope someone on here gets the car and returns it to its' former glory....Don.
see his other stuff listed? (ebay) he has some neat stuff. Keeping it more on topic he has oil cans plus a very old car floor jack for $1,000 and I see he sold an old gas pump and 2 vintage racing mercury outboards for $6900.
Ebay didn't pull it. He ended it himself. Maybe he thought he was getting enough attention off of the cl ads that he didn't want anyone to hit the buy it now on ebay where he would have to pay them too? Sounded like a few people contacted him from here to ask questions about it.
I was one of them, seemed like a nice guy but scant on the details. He just hasn't really done anything with it since buying it about a year ago so I appreciated his honesty for not knowing much about it. Couldn't get up there this weekend to take a look but very curious what this thing looks like up close.
I did not, one thing led to another and I didn't make it up there. I would love to know if someone on here bought it or what happened to it.
