looking for tips on cutting out the rear wheel wells on a 62 Falcon for tire clearance. How do I determine the radius, or do I just take a cardboard pattern of the front fender opening ?
What are OT parts and pieces ? I’m just cramming an American V-8 into a little foreign car, just like Americans have been doing ever since they started importing cars here.
Okay, I went with the cardboard template route, how’s it look ? I bought a bunch of machines from Eastwood so I’m gonna try to build flares next.
Unless I’m Missing something that looks like a blown SBF...what’s off topic about that..tons of Thames Drag Cars bitd
Looks damn good...and holy **** you work fast...I’m still “talking” about fuel and trans lines for mine...
Surely it falls into the same visual category as Ford Anglia, Ford Prefect, Fiat/Simca Topolino, Austin A40. Edit, Forgot the little Hillman Husky. There are few of those here as well.
Show us pictures of the rest of your Falcon. The wheel opening looks good. Adding flares should be fairly easy. I’ve known guy that bent up some conduit and used them for the flares. r Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
How about giving the guy a break? Maybe he doesn't want to jump through the HAMB hoops on how he should build HIS OWN car. If he's half as smart as he appears to be, he's doing the right thing by not exposing himself to this crowd.
Looks like I said too much about the Thames, I can no longer find this thread in the hamb general discussion forum, I had to bring it up in my alerts.
