I had a good time there, also. But I prefer my old cars shiny, like the 32 at the end of their row.

  9. Traditional hot rods (in force) at Amelia Island, never thought I'd see the day. God bless America.

Thanks for the report. I only have photos of the roadster as we spent all day with the car talking to people - it was a magnet for old Bonneville racers. It was a great honour to be invited and especially to be selected for "The Parade of Significant Automobiles" out of all the incredible cars present. Driving into the main arena and presenting the car to the judges (twice) is something I'll never forget. Photos to follow.

    Regards

    Jon.

Ben Haag and Holly Orel in NC spent days working on the roadster preparing the old girl for the show. That's one of their Piper Cubs behind the roadster...

The polished-up dashboard shone like a concert grand piano...

Thanks for sharing @Jive-Bomber. It's great to see Vintage Inspired Hotrod getting exposure...it helps keep the dream alive...Congrats to all involved. Additional thanks to those sharing their experiences at the Amelia with a newly expanded format...
