Motion Pictures John Athan Loving You Roadster

In August of last year i caught an article stating that John Athan's roadster was going on the auction block. I've been casually surfing the web trying to find out if it sold and for how much just out of curiosity and i can't seem to find anything on it. Does anyone on here have any info on this beautiful car?

When John was alive, he was offered a lot more money, but in his mind he thought it was worth at least 1mil and would not budge off that figure
