Lets see your vintage model cars

My Father built these in the late 50s early 60s. I have been redoing them due to being damaged in a ba*****t flood.

I have many of the Model cars I Built as a Kid. Some didn't survive my moms fastidious Dusting and Cleaning. More on that in a later posting. Thanx!

I scored another vintage SWC Swidler 2 kit from '63 at the swap meet this weekend. This one I won't open.

@Speed Gems watch out for the 1995 issues. They look like the older issues but have different dates on each long side of the box.

@Sancho Thanks for the info. I just checked my kit and it is from '95.
EDIT: I just checked my older kit and they are BOTH from '95.

 

That same kit is out on the shelves again.... Or on ebay..
It was released again a couple of years ago..

 

here's a few that live in my bathroom, I picked them up at the swap meet for about 10 bucks total

 

A couple of T’s my dad built when he was a kid.

 

Still have most of my AMT models from 1958. $1.25 a kit. Hidden in the garage. Kind of fragile after 66 years.

 

Taken fron a 1961 Honest Charley catalog...........

 

I guess I need to dig out my stuff from the '60's. A Willys coupe, a '57 Chevy, and and several Corvettes. They've been hiding in the ba*****t a while.
