I was just reading a thread about one in Detroit last year, so I thought I'd see if anybody is gonna or wants to do one here in LA? I mean what the hell, sounds like fun! If someone wants to organize it, I can volunteer a rusty ol' claw hammer, some cheap beer, and my good looks :D

Anybody wanna do this? Can't let Detroit have all the fun!

Thanks abelugo! Yeah high desert has a lotta elbow room, makes sense to have it out there. I was just thinking it might be fun, like a picnic except more beer and power tools :D

If it happens in Los Angeles I'd love to piggy back chopping my '56 Chevy P/U (next R&C Dream Truck) in there and cover the whole thing (both chops) for the magazine. Let me know, thanks Jim

    Hey Jim,

What are your ideas on the "next R&C Dream Truck", are ya thinkin a
readers poll consensus number, or a recreation of the original truck?

The first version was purple with quad head lamps, no? The second
iteration, after the wreck, a gold colour with radical fins and a different
    bed design.

Choppin a '56 Chevrolet would require a top notch gl*** guy, given the
radical dog leg a-post on those trucks.
