Can't find correct dust shield for my 1985 sbc clutch bellhousing. Picture attached, note hole requirement and starter area not close to being right.

What transmission is it? The dust shield mounts to the trans, not the engine...

IMO all you need is a drill and perhaps some tin snips.

OT , I had one laying in the garage floor for years off an old Power Wagon , I guy buying some parts saw it and went nuts . He says he bought 4 of them all repops from different companies all a tab bit different none fit . Mine was OEM , he offered me a $100.00 for it . I handed to him as a gift , I had been moving it around for years . Moral of the story repops are not what they always seem to be , spend your bucks on OEM parts . I have had a few GM covers that were cast covers also .

In my experience 57 heap has it right.
I purchased three different ones and none of them fit. Two were OEM.
I finally modified an after market one that was meant for a third gen camaro.

I just ordered one more OEM thing it might be a little closer, after studying many options. If all fails we start cutting and fabricating. Thank you all for your input.
