Lawnmower runnin' on the Salt Flats?

I could have sworn I heard it on the news tonight that a ridin' lawnmower was clocked at 80 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats ,,,,,Is this true are am I hearing things? HRP

last i checked, there was no need to lawn mow the flats....but if your gonna, might as well be at 80mph.......haha

That's nothing . . . check out the records on the bar stool racers . . . now that's some crazy stuff. 80+ mph doesn't suprise me a bit -- have you seen a Briggs&Stratton kart engine lately?
