Thanks Madfish and Moose, that looks good. Can you add the trim rings to the wheels?

Would one of you digital Rembrandts mind cleaning up this old shot of Denns1989's "Snoopy" survivor coupe? Specifically, the fold, torn corner, and weird blue coloration. Much thanks in advance! tapatalk_1584841845319.jpeg

NOT 55 side chrome stopped at the headlight door, the 56 went to the tip of the door and the paint could maybe should have been split. Anyway dump the f**kin connie

Why all the hate for Continental kits? My first exposure to a custom car was a '56 Victoria, Salmon & Black, dual rear aerials, Flipper hub caps, Mercury style V shaped grill bar (Meteor?), Cruiser Skirts, and a hard shell C kit with chrome ring. Maybe the biggest attraction was the owner, as curvy brunette 19-21. I was 12:eek:

Can you align the grille shell with the cowl?

Thank you very much, Moose and Fif-t-3! I'll share both versions with the owner.

I’d settle for a picture of what my shop would look like if it were cleaned up.

What a awsome thread! Maybe someone could take a pic of this 37 dodge 4 door sedan, and chop out the rear door, slide everything up into a 2 door coupe configuration? I would be MASSIVELY thankful! 20200322_180716.jpg

Here is an original one for comparison.

I like the longer 1/4 window on Moose's version.

the moose put these pie crust cheaters on painted steel reversed wheels for me. you guys want to have fun trying other rear wheel treatments? keep the same cheaters, maybe chrome reversed wheels or vintage torque thrusts. any wheel that can be had in 5 on 5.5 inch bolt pattern and 15x7 or 15x8.

    Here's another idea for you:
I gave it European custom look. Shortened her up to a close-coupled 2-door touring sedan.

Great idea with the hood and moving the radiator! I’m also thinking of adding a gold flake bed cover.

Can you raise the bed a couple of inches and add a bed cover? I’d like to see the bed cover in black and in gold. Thanks!

I wondered how it would look with the "hump" left in the trunk area...that's a very cool concept! Thank you!

there has been one of this configuration,
I think the other one was a PLYMOUTH,
However it was not as well done, but the guy said "he worked with what he had"[IMG]
