Now I guess most of us have some time to kill and could use a little distraction from what´s going on and I figured a "Good Times" thread may help to put a few smiles on your faces... So I´ll make an ass out of myself and start with a few shots and stories...


Me, singing and "sit-dancing" while driving somewhere, which is pretty usual for me, but it is pretty annoying for all my passengers . I was thrown out of our college choir because I just could not sing for sh*t, still can´t- I only joined because the most beautiful girls on college were in the choir.

My friend Damir, who is pretty much a Chevy guy like me ( with a few Fords and Rockets in the mix too) trying to figure out what kind of hi perf Y-block he just found there...

Picking up my ( Y-Block powered) 34 from the shipper. My shotgun rider Martin decided to open his first beer at 5:30 am but he still was good company for the 20 hrs of driving I did that day. This is him getting rid of empty cans and buying new ones...

Usually once a year I have few friends in my backyard for a 3-4 day backyard party. Depends when they arrive and leave. The silliness becomes worse from day to day, a few years back Günter brought this magnetic sticker....

We also delevoped a technique to make a shovelhead produce fart sounds...patend pending.

Me and my two kids on a snowy day. Where does the time go? They must have been 8 and 10 at the time, now my grandkids are older than that!


Working on my first '57, this one a Ford. Our family car until about 1970. This wagon took us to visit grandma, hauled building supplies, and took Pop's to work.


Me in my SBC powered '57 Chevy and Martin in his 455 Olds powered Ford took our cars for a spin on the Blue Ridge Parkway, I don't remember the year, but it was a lot of fun.


The OG! Me, Lee, Dave, and Martin hit a car show and a drive-in one spring day. The best bunch of guys and the best way to enjoy the hobby, DRIVING.

COOL thread idea. Hot Rods are only half of the fun. It's the friends ( hoodlums) you hang out with that makes it sooo much FUN. We're planning a little garage party here in May. But only if it's safe by then. We're praying this virus doesn't get bad. We'll use my Chilli for the fart sounds. We do corn hole, car movies, and even have the butt darts champion. ( don't ask). Have fun and stay safe. Ron........

My friend Fred ran out of shoes while fixing his OD relais on his 40 Plymouth. The concrete floor in my Garage was pretty cold, but he found a solution, hahaha

Your dust mask isn't gonna save your lungs so I could care less about your socks and clothes but I suspect your not a full time painter either...I hope...

You're young so you owe it to yourself and the ones you love to get a paint respirator as it's pretty nasty stuff in these new coatings...I want you to live a Full Life...​
