Progress: cut the coils and put in the "new" grill

....On the flaked '57 "Mirrorball"! Yep... still needs to be lower, but its getting better... The flake isn't as bright as it was, cause were getting the car smooth for the kandy....

 

I dig the grill....what color are you guys going to shoot over that?

 

Purple stripes on the roof, and panels with seaweed flames in them... The flames are going to be coming back into the panels, so they will still be silver flake. If that makes any sense.....

 

WOW! That sounds like it's going to be pretty wild. Make sure to post update pics once you get it sprayed.

...by far the best looking grille in a 57 Chevy... Looks really cool so far, can't wait to see it finished!

I couldnt agree more. The more I look at it, the more I relise how much I've always disliked the stock grill. I'm quite pleased as punch....
