putting a heater in my 36 Ford with a 48 Merc flathead, tried installing the heater hose adaptor in the lower radiator hose but can't seem to make it leak proof , is there a secret , does anyone make a rad hose with a molded outlet for the heater hose?

here's what i did, drilled and tapped a hole in the pump. 3/8" pipe just like the outlet on the heads. plenty thick there. IMG_0590.JPG
