Any info on the first shot, Rootie? Looks like one heck of a big push truck starting the car.

The other photo shows Russ Snowberger in 1936. This is the same car that you posted several days ago with Floyd Roberts driving. I believe Snowberger built the car himself.

Looks like the URC car of Steffin. I guess that is Lou Johnson driving. Looks like Flemington.

That's Lou Johnson in the Steffen Chevy. I believe it was originally the Steffen Offy a Hillegas car and was a quite famous east coast car driven by Sachs, Rodgers and many other top names on the east coast. I suspect the truck is probably the track tow truck put into service as a push truck.

As a aside the pic of the midget is a young Wayne Weiler when he was starting out in Az.
