First, thanks for all the support. But, I really did need to apologize. Now, I'll let you guys see what got me turned on at age 70. I only hope I can get the pictures to show up.
Nice! Good wash and wax and shes ready to go! Congrats on getting the picture thing too. Many here have major problems figuring how to do it but you got it first crack. Thats the makings of a fine truck there. Do you know the history of it?
Old fart - check Pinstriper - check 34 Ford Truck with great stance and patina - check What is there to laugh about.. seriously Rich
Looks very cool. I sold a '56 Fury to a 70+ year old back east, the guy is in the process of a ground-up restoration and then he says he is gonna drive the hell out of it. Just like he did in 1956 when he owned one. Good to see age isnt holding you back, hope I am as lucky... Good to see you here. Hyfire
i tried to get my grandfather to build a 46 chrysler converable like he had back when he met my grandma, even told him i would scour the countryside for it. i think he got turned off the idea when he dumped his harley at 77 years old. I figure he spends most his days with grandma where he has been the last 50+ years. whatever turns him on, my grandma was/is a looker...i uh guess.....uhh
Very Cool!!! Welcome! I hope I'm still crankin' on this crap when I'm 70......only 9 years to go.......I think I can make it!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Well you said I could Seriously, very cool ride, looks just right.
kinda hard to start a guy with 70 years of scars under his belt and a truck as cool as that as a FNG, dont they have a honorary ol school hamber nomination or something...haha.
Hell, you're not that old. My buddy recently sold his '59 Ranchero to a gentleman that's 81 and he's going to restore it himself. He's been building rods & customs for 60+ years, had a car in a 1960 issue of Hot Rod and he's been building cars ever since. You're only as old as you think you are !!
Great looking pick up, get it done and enjoy. Turned 70 my self in Dec., I think we should start a 70 an older group on hamb and show these young things age ain't nutton but a number on a peice of paper. Keeping the mind busy keeps us young. Get out your rod and play with it!!!!
i like this old guy crap. theres two kinds of old people. crazy bitchy ones, and ones that have good stories about the good old days. there a guy i hang out w thats around 84 band building a model A that he used to race at bonneville... and he wants to again. man old people can be cool. welcome, and enjoy what life gives you.
